Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Advizr Inc. ("Advizr", "we", "our", or "us") is a Canadian AI‑consulting firm that helps organizations discover, optimize, and implement artificial‑intelligence solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit advizr.ca or any sub‑domain (the “Site”).

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site, via email, or during booking forms linked from the Site (e.g., Calendly). It does not cover data processed under a separate client agreement; such engagements are governed by the confidentiality and data‑processing terms in that contract.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the Site, respond to enquiries, and improve our services:

  • Contact Data – name, company, email address, and phone number provided when you fill out a contact form, book a call, or sign up for a newsletter.

  • Business Profile – details you volunteer about your industry, company size, and pain points during discovery forms or calls.

  • Usage Data – IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs, gathered automatically through cookies and analytics pixels.

  • Device Data – operating system, screen resolution, and device type, collected automatically to ensure the Site displays correctly.

  • Marketing Preferences – your choices to opt in or out of newsletters and other updates.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health data or government‑issued IDs via the Site.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information to:

  1. Respond to enquiries and schedule calls (performance of a pre‑contract).

  2. Provide requested resources such as whitepapers or case studies (consent).

  3. Analyse Site performance and improve content (legitimate interests).

  4. Send marketing communications about AI insights, events, or Advizr services (consent—you may unsubscribe at any time).

  5. Protect the Site against fraud or misuse (legitimate interests and legal obligations).

5. Legal Bases (GDPR‑style)

For visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our legal bases are consent, performance of contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests that do not override your rights and freedoms.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use first‑party cookies for essential functionality and Google Analytics for aggregated statistics. You may disable non‑essential cookies in your browser; doing so will not affect core Site functions.

7. Sharing & Disclosure

We disclose personal information only where necessary:

  • Service Providers – secure hosting, email automation, analytics, and booking software bound by confidentiality.

  • Business Transfers – in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

  • Legal Requirements – when compelled by a court order or to protect our rights.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

8. International Transfers

Our primary servers are in Canada; however, some vendors (for example, U.S.‑based cloud providers) may process data in other jurisdictions. Where required, we use contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Data Retention

We retain contact and usage data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we keep minimal data to honour your opt‑out.

10. Security

We employ encryption in transit (HTTPS), strict access controls, and regular vulnerability assessments. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR, or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@advizr.ca.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to minors under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Third‑Party Links

The Site contains links and embeds (for example, LinkedIn posts or Calendly widgets). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

14. Changes to This Policy
